Body Modification Enthusiast Spends More Than $10,000 To Turn Herself Into A 'Human Dragon'

The 24-year-old woman has over 100 tattoos and has spent over $15,000 on her extreme body modifications.

Once you get a tattoo, you cannot stop at one and the same holds true for any kind of body modification surgeries. The prime example would be Amber Luke who has had over 50 body modifications including tattoos, piercings, and a split tongue. Luke got her first tattoo at the age of 16 and said that she became addicted to it shortly.

From there on, she found herself covering up her entire body in ink and before she knew, she had made plans on getting her fangs filed down to resemble that of a vampire. Recently, the young body modification enthusiast has shared a series of stunning photographs documenting her remarkable 10-year transformation, reported the Daily Mail

Luke has spent more than $15,000 on transforming her look where she even got her tongue split and her earlobe stretched. Luke, who hails from New South Wales Central Coast also has more than 100 tattoos, even including getting her eyeballs tattooed in blue.

She gave herself the nickname of 'Blue Eyed White Dragon' shared some incredible pictures of herself as a 14-year-old fresh-faced schoolgirl. She said, "I absolutely hate the way I used to look. It wasn't me. But I've evolved myself over the years into what I want to be and look like, but in saying that, I still have a long way to go."

Luke, at the age of 14 was diagnosed with severe clinical depression and after celebrating her 16th birthday, she became addicted to tattoos. She added, "Back when I was 14, I didn't know who I was or what I wanted from life. I was catatonic and couldn't see what was best for me. I was naive. But I now have a backbone and I can stand up for what I believe in. I also have the confidence to look however I want too. It wasn't until I turned 16, I was finally able to find an outlet that released all my negative energy."

By the time she turned 18, she already had three tattoos and now she has more than 100 on her body. She said, "My count is now more than 100 tattoos. I'm not worried about what I'm going to look like when I'm older, I understand that everyone ages and I don't think anyone will be looking too "pretty" at 70 years old. At the end of the day, it's the only thing I can take to my grave with me." Amber also said that by the end of March, she wants to cover herself fully with tattoos.

She revealed, "I'm going to America next month and over there I will be getting fully covered and getting silver grills on the shape of two fangs for my canine teeth." Since sharing her remarkable body modification story, she became a social media sensation and has been bombarded with the requests of photoshoot and business opportunities. Amber also said that she has met with strangers and has received mixed responses about her appearance.

She said, "I gained a lot of support and positive vibes from complete strangers - there was always the few nasty opinionated ones who try to make you feel inadequate, but I never let them get to me. To the trolls,  if you're reading this and you have nothing nice to say? Don't say it at all. You never know what a person's going through in their personal lives, be kind. I'm not harming anyone in the process, I'm doing what I want to do and if it makes me get up in the morning and be a happy person, then so be it."

Amber has also said that she has no regrets about her appearance whatsoever and she is absolutely in love with her image. When asked about the nickname she has given herself, she said, "I got the name "Blue Eyed White Dragon" from my friends, they call me that because I resemble a dragon with my eyes and tongue."

When she got her eyeball tattooed, she said that she risked becoming blind when her eyeball was injected with blue dye in March 2017. She said, "The procedure for getting my eyes done was only 40 minutes. It was very intense and very painful. My eyes got held open while a syringe was injected into my eye four times per eye. I was blind for three weeks."

Talking about her amazing journey of body modification, Amber said that she had to go under the knife her get her tongue split and to get pointy ears. She said, "My tongue split was very uncomfortable as well, I wasn't able to speak or eat for a week afterward. My ears were a very simple procedure; a silicone implant was inserted into the tips of my ears to shape them." Even though Amber has spent more than $15,000 on her body modifications and various procedures, she does not plan on stopping. In the future, she also plans on getting silver grills applied to her canine teeth.

This, along with two fangs will further make her enhance her 'dragon look' that she wants to achieve. She is already working as a model on photo shoots and is also likely to drum up some funds from promotion on her popular Instagram page.
